Anatomic Pathology Elective Rotations

The Duration, Training Site, Eligible PGY Levels, Coordinating Faculty Member, Teaching Faculty Listing, Administrative and Clerical Personnel, Goals and Objectives, Opportunities to Function as a Consultant, Mandatory and Optional Conferences to be Attended, Supervisory Guidelines, Daily Duties, On-call Duties, Scholarly Activities, Educational Resources, and Basis and Method for Trainee Evaluation are summarized in each individual rotation summary and the Program Supplement to the Institutional Policy Manual, Residency Policy Manual Part B: Policies, Guidelines, and Reference Listings.

Residents are required to complete the above 22 months of core and an additional 2 months of elective anatomic pathology rotations, prior to commencing advanced specialty training or fellowship programs. A resident who does not satisfactorily complete the above two year requirements in anatomic pathology will not be eligible for graduation from the AP residency training program. A separate eighteen month AP core for the AP/CP combined program is described in the "overview" section.
